Interfraternity Council (IFC)
IFC Greeks Interfraternity Council @ UNM
The Interfraternity Council is the governing body of the nationally recognized fraternity chapters at the University of New Mexico. The Interfraternity Council oversees 5 social fraternities providing programming and leadership opportunities within the Greek community.
The Interfraternity Council strives to address the issues that face all fraternities men. This governing council works on issues such as housing, health/wellness education, academic support, and chapter programming initiatives. IFC plans fraternity-wide community service projects (such as walk a mile in her shoes) and yearly recruitment events. Everyother week members of the fraternity system and IFC meet discuss the future of the fraternity community. Officers are selected annually and help to provide a united perspective to campus administrators and outside constituents.
