Chapter Bio: The Eta Kappa Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega is the only 5 Star Fraternity Chapter at the University of New Mexico, we pride ourselves on Leadership, Scholarship and Social service. Alpha Tau Omega is recognized across the country as the National Leadership Fraternity and we focus heavily on leadership development and Academic excellence. ATO has received recognition for the Highest GPA in the IFC since our colonization in Spring 2009. In the spring of 2011 we received or Charter from the National Board making our Chapter officially recognized as a Chapter. Chapter Bio:Kappa Sigma has a long, rich history at the University of New Mexico, beginning in 1917 with the initial branching of our beloved Fraternity into the Albuquerque Main Campus. Since then, the Delta Zeta Chapter has seen many of its undergraduate members graduate and become successful contributors to both the state, and the nation abroad. Currently, Delta Zeta is in the process of recolonizing, beginning a new adventure in high hopes of soon becoming the pride of this University, and reclaiming our spot on campus. Since colonization in February of 2010, Delta Zeta has grown to 25 Founding Fathers, and is closing in on our goal to gain a Charter, and soon afterwards a new Kappa Sigma Fraternity house. As the men of Kappa Sigma grow and maximize our potential in the upcoming 2011-2012 school year, we will strive to live by the Four Pillars laid forth by the Founders of our Brotherhood; Leadership, Scholarship, Fellowship and Service. The history of the Delta Zeta Chapter continues to be made daily, leaving an opportunity for undergraduates to leave both legacy, and tradition on the University of New Mexico campus that will remain for generations of Brothers to come.

Chapter Bio:Phi Delta Theta Fraternity was founded at Miami University in 1848 on the principles of friendship, sound learning, and moral rectitude. The New Mexico Alpha chapter at UNM was originally established in 1946.

Over 800 men were initiated at New Mexico Alpha throughout the chapter’s rich history. This in addition to the other 237,000 men on other campuses across North America makes up one of the largest alumni bases of any Greek organization. The networking opportunities through the organization are endless. This becomes paramount once you begin looking for jobs and internships. No matter what potential career you choose to pursue, there will be alumni in that field eager to offer assistance in any form.

The Sigma Chi fraternity was founded on the principles of friendship, justice and learning. Born out of strife and aimed at bringing strength of values to young men, Sigma Chi has long been the preeminent leadership-based fraternity in the nation. Founded in 1855 at Miami University, we are one of the oldest and largest international fraternities in the world.

The Beta Xi Chapter of Sigma Chi is committed to providing the best possible experience and opportunities for its members. Founded in 1916, we have made for ourselves a long, rich history at UNM, striving to bring our values to the forefront of the student body, and establishing ourselves as leaders, both on campus and in the community.
