Statement on Pike
(Pi Kappa Alpha)
The University of New Mexico has placed the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity on probation due to a violation of the Student Code of Conduct with regards to hazing.  They will be on probationary status until March 31, 2016.

Statement on SAE
(Sigma Alpha Epsilon)
The University of New Mexico and the Headquarters of Sigma Alpha Epsilon do not recognize a chapter of SAE at UNM.

Statement on Hazing
UNM Fraternity and Sorority members take pride in being part of a community in which all members treat each other with respect. Activities which detract from the goal of fostering the personal and intellectual development of our students have no place in our community or campus. Hazing in any form by any student in the process of joining an organization poses a serious threat to the health and safety of our students and will not be tolerated.

Recruitment Information:

Women's Sororities (College Panhellenic) Fall 2014 recruitment runs on campus the week before school starts from August 9th through August 12th, 2014.  Register for recruitment by following the link below.

Men's Fraternities (Intrafraternity Council) begins May 18, 2014 - August 29th, 2014.

Multi-cultural Fraternity and Sorority Recruitment will begin August 18, 2014 but interested parties should fill out the interest form.
